When you sign up on Preceptor.Network with your .edu email, something happens behind the scenes that saves you a lot of time. We recognize your school, load your program's requirements, and start building your match profile before you've filled out a single form. Here's how that works.

Your Email Already Tells Us a Lot

Every accredited nursing school uses a known email domain. When you type in your school email during student registration, our system checks that domain against a database of nursing programs. If we find a match, we already know your school, your program type, and the clinical requirements attached to it. No document uploads. No "please select your school from this dropdown of 3,000 options." Just your email.

This matters because matching you with a preceptor isn't just about geography. It's about finding someone whose credentials, specialty, and practice setting actually satisfy your program's specific rules. And those rules vary widely from school to school.

Why This Makes Matching Faster

Most placement services start with a generic intake form. You fill in your school, your program, your specialty focus, your required hours, your state, your preferred setting, and on and on. Then someone manually reviews it and tries to find a fit. That process can take weeks.
